The Teabagger is fixed and running!!!!!

Saturday, Howard (the magician) tackled the job of trying to get the beast running again. At first he was sure he could get it running, then said it looked like it didn't survive and then the sounds of twisting metal, gritty rusty electrical motors a puff of dust a great yank at the clutch and it started. So I will be oiling, greasing and cleaning it and should have teabags next week.... thanks for the encouragement and waiting.

Good News for lovers of Chocolate and Moonbeams & Lavender

There is an incredible Chocolatier in Stowe, VT making truffles using our Moonbeams & Lavender herbal tea. The store is Laughing Moon Chocolates (www.laughingmoonchocolates.com)

She has Chamomile Lavender Chevre truffles in Dark Chocolate and Chamomile Lavender truffles in Milk and Dark Chocolate...Delicious!!! Although I am usually a dark chocolate person, I really like the Milk Chocolate Chamomile Lavender truffle. You can taste the Chamomile Lavender better.

Okay the shop isn't exactly the same and we still have to get the tea bagger working but making progress and the shop is open and starting to fill in. Come visit!

Good News Bad News for Yunnan OP 6112 lovers!

I have found a replacement for the Yunnan OP 6112. That strong woodsey/oakey flavor that many of us, including me love so much. Unfortunately it is more expensive than the OP 6112 and you have to use more of it to achieve that wonderful taste. It is a Royal Golden Yunnan, Extra Fancy Supreme. The price is $10 for small tin(2oz), $19 for large tin(4oz) or $25 for a 1/2lb(definitely the way to go). Use 1 heaping teaspoon/cup - boiling water - steep 4 minutes.

One that is close but not as close, is a Yunnan 3rd grade. It is much less expensive and will remind you of the OP 6112. $5.50 for a small tin, $10 for a large and $15 for 1/2lb

I'm Back!!!!

Open for business at the old location!!! Opened yesterday. Still alot of work setting up the shop but while I'm putting everything back in its place, I am open for business. Tue thru Sat 10am till 5p, Come on down!

The latest

So here is the latest. I am going out of town until Jan 1 and when I come back I am moving back into the shop. It should take a few days to get everything in and set up and I am estimating by Jan 5th I shall be open again at the old shop. A new front door(with the glass on the operating side of the door) for all of you who have tried getting through the glass in the old door, new concrete floor with radiant heat and insulated walls. I look forward to seeing you all again at the old new shop.
